Caught in the act, again: Serena "ReRe" Williams was spotted leaving Villa Lounge in Beverly Hills with current boyfriend Common, and they're still looking as uncomfortable being seen together as they did the last time.

Do you think it's because the rapper is just "boyfriend insurance" for the tennis baller and she doesn't want to upset her other admirers?

SIGHTING: Venus + Serena hit up ESPN the Magazine's 10th Anniversary party

Venus + Serena Williams, who continue to boycott Indian Wells since being involved in a racially-charged incident in 2001, spent their off-time attending ESPN the Magazine's 10th Anniversary party held at Area in LA.


Though some (hilariously) think V is doing her best Whitney Houston these days, both she and ReRe look great dolled up in their jewel-toned dresses - a shift style for V and a sexy halter for ReRe.

Earlier this year, the sisters alos took part in a photoshoot for the 10th Anniversary of the mag.

Let's hope their appearance at the party means I was wrong and the magazine will increase coverage of tennis - that would give them a clear edge over Sports Illustrated's lackluster efforts.

Serena Williams can party but can't write, blames dental surgery

Serena "ReRe" Williams is finally able to write and practice again after her painful dental surgery, even though she was feeling good enough to crash some parties recently. The former No. 1 was the top seed at the Open Gaz de France tourney but withdrew because of the procedure. ReRe blogged about it so we'll let her tell you herself:

"Well as u may have heard I had to have emergency gum surgery. I was super ill for a looooong time. The only good thing is I ended up losing a bit of weight. I am just now getting better. I am just beginning to train and get back in the flow of things. It really sucks that I have to miss a few tourneys, but I have never felt too bad in my life.

"I would wake up (actually I could not even sleep the pain was so bad) and just cry because I was in so much pain. Being an athlete I have learned to build up my pain tolerance. And also in the past I have had a knee surgery so I know how some pain feels, but I have never experienced anything like this. It was crazy!! I have never cried for pain. I felt hopeless. My Mom came to the rescue. She was with me every second I needed her. What a great woman.

"I am finally feeling better and able to write blogs again. I hope to be in action soon on the tennis courts again. I can't really tell when I will be back but I am just training and playing it by ear. Stay tuned!!!"

The dental work forced her to pull out of the tennis tourney, but it didn't stop ReRe from blowing up the Serena Party Watch by hitting the clubs with boyfriend Common or making appearances at two Grammy parties last weekend.

Apparently, the more things change, the more the stay the same with ReRe.

SIGHTING: Serena Party Watch in full effect for Grammy weekend

The Serena Party Watch was in overdrive this weekend for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. The 8-time Grand Slam champion, who came down with a strange case of camera-shyness recently, switched out her tennis gear for party gowns and hairdos as she hit up Clive Davis' prestigious pre-Grammy party on Saturday (above) and then the Entertainment Weekly Grammy after-party honoring music industry heavyweight LA Reid on Sunday, spending time chatting up family friend Janet Jackson (below).


Thought we think she looks great at both events, we're loving ReRe's sexy look from the post-Grammy party - the shorter, sleeker bob-style hair and salmon halter dress is very flattering on the former World No. 1.

SIGHTING: Serena Williams hits Hollywood club scene, but doesn't go home alone

Moving on: Apparently Serena "ReRe" Williams broken heart is on the mend. The 8-time Grand Slam champ, who hit the quarterfinal skids at the Aussie Open last week, was spotted arriving at Hollywood club Hyde ready to party in a white waist-coat, cobalt blue dress, black patent tote, and peep-toe Christian Louboutin heels.

But the tennis fashionista didn't end the night alone: TMZ caught ReRe, with rumored boyfriend Common, in the passenger seat of his black SUV as they left club Villa the same evening.

Does Serena Williams have a new beau? Serena, who was previously linked to actor Jackie Long, was spotted holding hands with rap-artist Common at the launch party for sister Venus' clothing line EleVen at Tenjune last week, reported the New York Post's Page Six.

A spy for the gossip rag said, "They were very friendly, arm-in-arm. She looked great, [...] All night they were sitting together. They were keeping it cool, but you could tell Common likes himself some Serena. I asked a friend of his and was told they are dating."

FASHION FIX: Serena joins Venus to launch EleVen at Tenjune in New York

Though she put on her best PR face at the Sony Ericsson Player's Party last weekend, Serena "ReRe" Williams was all genuine smiles at sister Venus' launch party for her fashion line EleVen at Tenjune in New York last night. The 120-piece collection hits Steve & Barry stores today.

We're liking V's metallic waist-coat matched with the dark skinny jeans and black t-shirt. Not too dressy or casual - just the right mix. And ReRe? The usually fickle fashionista looks like she just rolled out of bed. What's with the wrinkled dress and choppy bob? That's a no go ReRe...

SIGHTING: Serena Williams attends premiere of The Kingdom

Hollywood player: The Serena Party Watch is heating up again this fall. After confirming the pregnancy rumors were just that, the 8-time Grand Slam champion made the premiere for the film The Kingdom starring Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner. Here she is accompanied by Foxx, Will Smith, and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Staying true to recent form, ReRe opted for an empire waist halter top dress in pewter with ribbon waist band and bejewelled strappy heels. Let's not discuss the hair again today...ay...

SIGHTING: Serena Williams attends HBO Emmy Awards party

Serena Party Watch: Serena "ReRe" Williams picked up her partying ways this weekend. The former World No. 1, who was a staple at New York fashion week, attended HBO's Emmy Awards party last night. ReRe opted for a lavender halter top dress, black clutch, black Christian Louboutin peep-toe stiletto heels, and unfortunate hair extensions. We were really loving the messy bob she was sporting recently, but clearly she's over it.

FASHION FIX: Serena Williams hits Rodeo Drive for charity

The Serena Party Watch got hit up again this past weekend. Serena "ReRe" Williams was spotted at basketball stars Baron Davis and Paul Pierce's LA Stars Rodeo Drive Experience All Star Charity on August 4.

Still sporting the soft cast on her left hand for the thumb injury, ReRe looks beautiful in this silk empire waist dress in fuschia. The color and style work very well on her.

And although we love seeing her out and about for the Serena Party Watch, we can't wait to see ReRe back on the tennis court (and by the look on her face, she can't either.)

Serena Party Watch: Okay, it's official. We can't keep up with Serena "ReRe" Williams' party-hopping ways - we get dizzy just thinking about it. This week, the 8-time Grand Slam champion was spotted at hip-hopper Common's Finding Forever album release event sponsored by Target. I have to give it to ReRe though, this is the best she's EVER looked. Wearing a taupe double pocket wrap-dress, strappy wedge heels, and a bouncy bob hairstyle, ReRe looks sexy and confident (though not very injured...hmmm.)

'Roos news: We caught a glimpse of Czech Tomas Zib battling (and losing) to cutie Andy Roddick at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic and couldn't help but notice the kangaroos he was sporting on his shirt and wristbands (plus the white + green combo-of-the-moment we're loving.) After a little research we found out the clothing company is L'Alpina, an Italian sportswear company. Apparently, they've been around since the 1980's and players such as Anders Jarryd and Goran Ivanisevic have sported their duds in the past. ROUND ROBIN: Serena still partying, Gwen Stefani visits the Hewitts, Maria signs dress for charity

Plenty o' parties: Serena "ReRe" Williams continued her party-hopping ways this past week. After pulling out of this week's Acura Classic because of the thumb injury sustained at Wimbledon (her fourth withdrawal in a row), she joined her boyfriend, actor Jackie Long, to watch singer Fergie live from the Pearl at the Palms' VIP Sky Lounge in Las Vegas. Serena was also joined at the party by singer Macy Gray. Looks like Macy is admiring ReRe's new hairstyle they way we have been lately... (via Bossip)

Hewitt's House: The Hewitts - Lleyton, Bec, and their daughter Mia - entertained special guests at their Sydney home this weekend. Gwen Stefani, currently on tour in Australia, her rocker husband (and tennis fanatic) Gavin Rossdale, and son Kingston visited the Hewitts for a playdate with their kids. Serena "ReRe" Williams is certainly a woman
comfortable in her own skin. In the new issue of the now defunct Jane magazine, ReRe bares all for the magazine, with nothing but silver metallic heels and flowers for cover.


In the caption, ReRe says:

"I’ll take off my shirt in a second - locker room girls don’t have much shame. Once I was getting ready to go out and my hitting partner, who is my best friend and, like, Greek god - handsome, walked into my hotel room, it wasn’t awkward for me, but he freaked out."


The clothing returned for ReRe this weekend as she attended the exclusive "Beckhams Welcome to LA Party", hosted by Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes and Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith. Continuing her black and white theme that began with The ESPYS red carpet and continued at the Louis Vuitton & Details magazine event, Serena looked stylish in a black silk charmeuse belted jumpsuit, black open-toe stilletos, and large gold hoop earrings.

After her disappointing, injury-plagued exit from Wimbledon, Serena "ReRe" Williams followed Maria "Shriek"apova's lead and hit the Hollywood party scene.

First up were The ESPYS. Always one to "shock & awe" with her fashion (catsuit anyone?) ReRe hit the red carpet looking suprisingly, um, virginal. Next was the Louis Vuitton & Details magazine "Sunset on the Rooftop" party on July 12. The look: a simple, black and white floral printed frock, gold hoop earrings, and strappy black heels (pictured with R&B singer Robin Thicke.)

Fashion Fix: Serena Williams working The ESPY'S red carpet

Always one for grabbing attention, Serena "ReRe" Williams has swiftly moved past her disappointing loss to Justine Henin, and injuries to her calf and left hand, at Wimbledon last week.

ReRe made a grand entrance on The ESPY's red carpet tonight, looking quite regal in her cream spaghetti-strap dress with empire waist (empire waists must be a theme - Maria Shriekapova was working the same style at The ESPY's pre-party the night before.)

The headband is an elegant touch. But can we talk about the bling? The diamond-laced bracelet and strappy heels hit a hight mark.

It's good to see she's putting that injured left hand to use now that she's pulled out of this weekend's Fed Cup semifinal against Russia and next week's The Western & Financial Open.

(Note: ReRe Williams is up for 2 awards: "Best Championship Performance" and "Best Female Tennis Player." The ESPY's will be televised on Sunday, July16.)
