FASHION FIX: Galina Voskoboeva in ellesse

So she got blitzed by Victoria Azarenka. Who hasn't been this week?

A tired Galina Voskoboeva was dismantled by the Belarussian bomber 6-1, 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup today. The 26-year old from Kazakhstan had a stellar week, though, upending the likes of Marion Bartoli, Flavia Pennetta and Maria Sharapova, someone she admits "cheering for" in the past (I can see Shrieka's reaction to that quote already, "And??"). Not bad for a qualifier ranked outside the Top 100.

She also looked pretty good working this ultra-fem white ellesse tank dress with black piping, a Peter Pan collar and frilly skirt. It certainly borders on being more of a cocktail number than something for the tennis court but it's the Italian brand's way. Besides, they've done a lot worse.

Speaking of worse, we should all be REALLY thankful Nadia Petrova didn't get a hold of this one. Double phew.

SIGHTING: Drake watching Serena Williams at the Rogers Cup

Well, this shot like these shots finally confirm what we've all suspected: Serena Williams + Drake are definitely doing it. And by 'doing it' I mean dating pervs. Isn't it obvious? In any case, I bet he enjoyed this, too.

FASHION FIX: You reach No. 1 and all you get is this lousy, recycled outfit

Maybe it's the tough economy. Or maybe they ran out of ideas. Or MAYBE it's Kate Middleton's sartorial influence.

Whatever the reason, Sergio Tacchini deserves a major red card for recycling this outfit for Novak Djokovic's first match as the top baller in the world. And it's not the first time they recycled it. He debuted it during the spring clay-court season and then, shockingly, showed up wearing it at Roland Garros. But even if the outfit was AMAZING (and it's not) it still wouldn't be okay to have him wear it again. You're lucky he won his match, ST.

The same could be said for adidas by Stella McCartney and Caroline Wozniacki. They recycled the much-maligned blue ruffle dress she debuted at Indian Wells at Roland Garros and today she appeared in Toronto for her opening round match (which she lost) in a similar outfit to the one she wore starting at Charleston in the spring. The skirt is the same but the tank top was the orange of her sports bra, not white. Same diff to me.

These companies have the opportunity to outfit the top-ranked ballers in tennis and this is the best they can do. I mean, REALLY. These spots are kinda high visibility. Get it together.

Let's not talk about 'The Big Four' anymore

I think it was last week when I heard something that made me spit my soda. It was during some live coverage of some ATP match (clearly a very innnnteresting match) on the Tennis Channel when I heard one of the commentators remarking on "The Big Four" - Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray. THE BIG FOUR??! Cue the spittage.

C'mon guys. We're living in a post-Wimbledon 2011 world where Nole owns three majors and the top ranking. And we know all the hardware Rafa + Fed have hauled over the years. So how the hell can anyone think Muzz fits into this group anymore, especially after today's 6-3, 6-1 loss to Kevin Anderson at the Rogers Cup in Montreal (as a 2-time defending champ no less)? He was barely hanging on by a ginger thread before Wimby and even less afterward. And now this loss. I'm stunned by the 'The Big Four' talk, which is kinda the way Muzz looked today. So let's not.

P.S. Is it my uber-critical eye or is he starting to lose his locks? If he is, nobody mention it. He's probably not going to take it well today. Just a thought.

VIDEO VAULT: Nothing gets between Nadal and his Armanis (you wish)

Here's some behind-the-scenes footage of Rafael Nadal shooting another ad campaign for Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans Fall Winter 2011 and 2012 collections.

So I guess the ad has something to do with Rafa running in a full tux while being chased (by some rabid Rafanatics, no doubt) followed by a strip down to - what else? - his Armanis. And there's some other stuff I couldn't be bothered to figure out. I mean, HE STRIPS DOWN TO HIS UNDIES. That really is all.

PHOTO OP: Feeding time

"Just a nibble, k?"

Li Na looks good dressed up as shark bait, eh?

The Roland Garros champ was swarmed by the media during the WTA All-Access Hour for the Rogers Cup in Toronto today. I guess I could handle it to if it meant I could snuggle up to $42 million in endorsements when I got home. And, before you laugh, I'll let you know I look good wearing a Rolex, stuffing my face with Haagen-Dazs and taking out life insurance, too. She's not the only one.
